Located within the Gargano National Park, the company spans about twenty hectares of olive groves. The grafting of two different olive species, Coratina and Ogliarola, is a unique feature of our trees that allows for the production of a genuine and aromatic oil.

It was the early years of the 1900s when Ciro, aided by two horses and a stone mill, began an
adventure that would lead the Nardella family to create an olive oil company in the heart of
Gargano.

In 1945, the olive oil business of the Nardella family grew day by day, thanks to the care and
passion invested by all the family members.

Now an adult, Raffaele, the son, takes the reins of the agricultural activity, starting the first renovation interventions with the determination and vigour that only a young person can possess.

Following the death of her husband Raffaele, Antonia Prencipe will proudly inherit the agricultural activity to which she will give her name.

A few years later, in 1986, the company passed into the hands of Mario and Filomena Nardella. The two focused on the quality of the product and the enhancement of taste, expanding the traditional mill with the granite millstone and the ancient presses. Today, Mario and Filomena are joined by their son Raffaele, who, after more than ten years in Milan, has chosen to return home, drawn by the desire to fully embrace the family business.

The oil mill is an integral part of his life

Since he was a child and ran around the olive grove, the passion and strong bond of affection pushed him to research and study continuously in order to improve the quality of their products day after day. A family-run olive farm that, with the succession of generations, has created the perfect combination of experience and innovation, resulting in an extra virgin olive oil of excellent quality. In 2019, with the activation of the two-stage continuous-cycle oil mill, the Trames label was born.
